Palmarosa essential oil is obtained from a sweet lemon- scented grass found growing wild throughout India, especially to the North East of Bombay and toward the Himalaya Mountains, Nepal and Pakistan.In Ayurvedic medicine, palmarosa is used to treat bronchitis,
coughing and shortness of breath, fever, and jaundice. Externally, palmarosa grass is used in palms to relieve back pain, rheumatism, sciatica and cramps. Fresh and crushed aromatic leaves are added to bath water to release the stimulating and intriguing aroma that soothes the tired mind and body pain.
